Constant Communication

     I think that a part of the reason that a lot of relationships today is communication. In the past, you didn’t have a way to constantly talk to the person with whom you were in a relationship. You had to go all day without seeing them, talking to them or hearing from them. You had to go through the day thinking about them, wait until you get off work, go home and call them on the phone. Today you have Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, email, text messages, and of course cell phones. 

     I feel like we don’t get enough time to miss the people what we are interested in. I also thing that that could lead us to quickly get tired of the people we are interested in after the initial period of infatuation. If that person is a constant presence even when you aren’t actually with them, the time that you get to spend together means less and less and you begin to get on each other’s nerves more and more until it ends.
